The Murdoch Center Foundation is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to education, training, research, information dissemination, and professional development in the field of mental retardation.  The Foundation publishes a variety of curriculum guides and assessment tools for use with persons with developmental disabilities.  Sales of these products fund Foundation activities which benefit the people who live and work at Murdoch Center, a North Carolina State Regional Mental Retardation Center.  These funds have been used to support research and publication, to purchase equipment and supplies, and to foster professional development and training for staff.  Murdoch Center Foundation is an Internal Revenue Service 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation.
